Church Department Directors Nominated
The director and assistant director of the three Church of God ministries that are subject to election according to the Church of God MINUTES, were nominated by the General Council to succeed themselves for another two-year term in their respective positions.
The following were nominated in the opening session of the general council on Tuesday morning: Thomas Madden, director of Youth and Christian Education; Gary Lewis, assistant director; Jimmy D. Smith, director of Evangelism and Home Missions, Larry Timmerman, assistant director; and J.B. Douglas LeRoy, director of World Missions and Victor Pagan, assistant director.
Two years ago at the 2008 General Assembly in San Antonio, all six were elected to their posts and all were eligible to be re-elected for another two-year term at this General Assembly.
